Energy operators are faced with an ever-growing challenge where every new device connected, new attack points are introduced. Managing this ecosystem manually can be time-consuming and error-prone, leaving systems exposed to vulnerabilities, and unauthorised access. That's why we've been working hard behind the scenes, developing a solution that will simplify the management of complex electricity infrastructure – Aquila.

Real-Time Visibility Across Your Ecosystem

Offering in-depth mapping of declared and observed assets, Aquila provides a comprehensive overview of what needs protecting. This real-time visibility enables device validation, certificate monitoring, and the tracking of system changes, supporting your entire technology stack, including legacy systems and protocols. Aquila ensures nothing is overlooked.

What Aquila tracks?

Operators can capture from digital certificates within PKI and DER fleets to hardware devices, inverters, proxy systems, internal services, OEM equipment, and fleet metadata including serial numbers and LFDIs. Registration events are recorded automatically, creating an auditable history of your systems and asset fleets. This comprehensive approach ensures DER operations are safe, reliable, and fully compliant with industry standards.

Explore Your Inventory with Ease

Operators can explore inventory data through multiple views:

  • Systems: Observe system type, version, and status

  • Operators: View operator details, related data centres, authorised personnel, and assigned roles

  • Fleets: Navigate fleet groups and individual assets, exploring identifiers and device status

  • Certificates: Access a certificate tree showing trusted certificates, associated lists, issuer information, validation metadata, serial numbers, algorithms, and fingerprint information.

Prioritise System Integrity and Accountability

Real-time logging captures every event, change, and update, creating a complete, auditable record of system activity. Built-in allowlist and denylist enforcement ensures that only authorised devices, systems, and personnel can interact with your critical infrastructure. Changes are monitored live, so updates, new devices, or certificate modifications are immediately detected, giving operators the ability to respond proactively before small issues escalate. As all inventory records are centralised and accessible, compliance reporting, regulatory audits, and strategic decision-making are simpler and more reliable.

With Aquila, electricity operators gain confidence, control, and clarity, enabling faster response to anomalies, and smarter operational decisions. If you're interested in learning more about Aquila, reach out to the team at info@capaintelligence.com.
