About the Role
We’re now looking for a talented Staff Full-Stack Software Developer to help build our advanced threat detection and incident response product suite.
This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful challenges that have a direct impact on national infrastructure. The software you build will help energy providers detect issues faster, respond more effectively, and operate with greater confidence in an increasingly complex threat environment.
In this role, you will:
• Build web applications that enable ingestion of petabytes of data, and analysis to help identify and understand cybersecurity threats and operational outages.
• Your work will directly support the resilience of Australia’s electricity sector, giving operators the tools they need to detect issues earlier and respond more effectively.
• Leverage your expertise in Kotlin and React to develop and test high-quality, secure code.
• Develop and publish APIs for our B2B customers, ensuring our products integrate seamlessly into their environments.
• You will work closely with our team, you will help shape solutions that address operational security challenges.
Requirements
Skills and Experience
Must have:
You have 10+ years' experience in full-stack software development, with a solid grounding in TDD and CI/CD workflows
You are familiar with Kotlin + Micronaut or similar
You are familiar with React
You enjoy working in a genuinely agile environment
You are a pleasure to work with, and expect the same of your colleagues

You demonstrate leadership and mentoring team members
Nice to have:
Cybersecurity domain experience
Solid grasp of encryption technologies
Familiarity with Ruby and/or Python
Familiarity with K8s, Kafka
Experience with unsupervised ML on time series information feed such as logs and telemetry
