About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our clients against cybersecurity threats by actively monitoring and creating detailed reports on threats, creating processes and documentation for our cybersecurity products and processes, and assistance in cybersecurity risk assessments with our clients.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor external cybersecurity threat feeds (e.g. Dragos) and create reports on relevant cyber threats.
Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Maintain cybersecurity documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Assist in cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability analysis for critical infrastructure.
Support the development of security reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of security tools and monitoring systems.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Experience:
Formal qualifications, prior internship or relevant experience in cybersecurity or the electricity industry
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
Knowledge of the electricity sector and industrial control systems (ICS) security is a plus.
Presentation experience with medium size teams (20+ people)
Experience creating technical documentation or user guides.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Solid analytic skills (non technical) to understand correlations and causal relationships.
Basic statistical skills to be able to interpret results.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and threat intelligence.
Python or infrastructure-as-code (IAC) skills are a plus.
